Katherm QK nano

EC tangential fan-assisted convection with small dimensions.

Overview

Katherm QK nano units are very often used in acoustically sensitive areas. Accordingly, Katherm QK nano have been optimized in terms of sound levels. The sound power level is measured according to DIN EN ISO 3744 in a semi-low reflective sound measuring chamber.

Katherm QK nano standard trenches are available on short delivery times. This lets you plan and gives you certainty when managing your project.

Katherm QK nano units are suitable for use with a heat pump or other low water temperature system. Fan-assisted units rapidly achieve 3-4 times the output of conventional radiators particularly when operated with low system temperatures of around 35 °C. This lowers the energy requirement and heating costs and, of course, ultimately also greenhouse gas emissions.

The FineLine grille was developed specifically for the Katherm QK nano. It is a rigid grille consisting of airflow-optimized triangular profiles. As standard, Katherm QK nano are supplied with a FineLine Q grille (cross grille) powder coated in RAL 9006 (white aluminum).

We look at the environmental impact of our products over the entire life cycle – “cradle to cradle”! This results in Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). EPDs can be easily submitted for all common building sustainability certification systems, such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED, and are available in the Download area. In addition, the product is registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator.

The Katherm QK nano feels especially at home when space is at a premium. Its compact trench dimensions enable maximum interior space to be utilised. Ideal for large office complexes.

In spite of having a trench height of only 70 mm (2.75“) and a trench width of only 165 mm (6.5“), the Katherm QK nano offers an enviable performance that makes your space wonderfully comfortable.

The matching frame trim for every FineLine grill – not a problem with the Katherm QK nano. The icing on the cake for a perfect look.

The Eurokonus valve connection enables the Katherm QK nano to be quickly and easily installed on site. In addition, height adjustment feet and raised floor height adjustment feet are supplied as standard to further reduce the installation time and thus the cost.
